1. Data Controller

Pursuant to the Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), your personal data may be processed by JMS KIT in its capacity as the data controller.

2. Processing of Personal Data

JMS KIT processes personal data lawfully and fairly, accurately and, where necessary, keeps it up to date. Personal data is processed for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and in a manner that is relevant, limited and proportionate to those purposes.

3. Personal Data That May Be Processed

Depending on your relationship with JMS KIT and the services you use, the following personal data may be processed:

• First and last name
• Telephone number
• Email address
• Contact and quotation request information
• IP address and technical access records
• Financial information where required by the commercial relationship

4. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

• Responding to product and service requests
• Evaluating quotation requests

• Conducting communication activities
• Managing sales and after-sales processes

5. Legal Grounds for Processing Personal Data

Personal data is processed on the basis of one or more of the legal grounds set out under the KVKK. These may include processing expressly provided for by law, processing necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract, compliance with JMS KIT’s legal obligations, establishment, exercise or protection of a right, legitimate interests and, where required, explicit consent.

6. Transfer of Personal Data

Where necessary for the purposes of processing personal data and fulfilling legal obligations, and subject to the conditions prescribed by applicable legislation, your personal data may be transferred to authorized public institutions, service providers, business partners, suppliers and other legally authorized persons or organizations.

7. International Transfer of Personal Data

Personal data may be transferred abroad where digital infrastructure, hosting, email, cloud services or similar services used by JMS KIT are located outside Türkiye. Such transfers are carried out in accordance with the KVKK and other applicable legislation.

8. Retention of Personal Data

Personal data is retained for the periods prescribed by applicable legislation or for as long as required for the purposes for which it is processed. When the reason for processing no longer exists, personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized in accordance with applicable legislation.

9. Data Security

JMS KIT implements appropriate technical and administrative security measures to prevent unlawful processing of and unauthorized access to personal data and to ensure the secure storage of such data.

10. Website and Technical Data

When you visit the JMS KIT website, certain technical information such as your IP address, device and browser information, access time and pages visited may be processed for security, performance monitoring and resolving technical issues.

11. Rights of the Data Subject

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, personal data subjects have the right to:

• Learn whether their personal data is being processed,
• Request information if their personal data has been processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose,
• Learn the third parties to whom their personal data has been transferred,
• Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data,
• Request deletion or destruction of personal data where the legal conditions are met,
• Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of personal data.

You may submit your requests regarding your rights under the KVKK to JMS KIT by clearly stating your identity and the subject of your request.
